Safecast bGeigie Raku

The Safecast bGeigie Raku is a high-quality, snap-together, GPS and data-logging enabled radiation detector kit that will work seamlessly with the Safecast system.

Easy And Fun Radiation Detector

Our friends at Safecast have designed a new geiger counter called the Safecast bGeigie Raku.

Raku is Japanese for "easy and fun" - easy to build (no soldering) , easy to read (big and bright display), easy to hack (bigger CPU), easy to connect (BLE) and more fun too!

Simply snap in a few components -- including the large display -- and you're ready to measure radiation.

The Kickstarter reward amount will be the lowest price these devices will ever be available and the campaign ends on July 10th, 2017.

Safecast bGeigie Raku Specs

The bGeigie Raku is comes in kit format, but adopts a preassembled main board and snap together components to make it possible to assemble without soldering. Other features include a large, easy to read display and onboard bluetooth to allow measurement uploads through iOS and Android devices. It is easy to hack and expand with a fast CPU while remaining Arduino-compatible
